Gael goes over the data analysis we recently completed where analyzed 2 million search results to try and understand how long it takes to rank on Google?
One of our main findings was that ranking is not really a factor of time but rather a factor of links and that older pages tend to get more links because they have been around for longer.
Still, on average, only a very small percentage of new pages make it to page 1 on Google when they are less than 1 year old.
